CityLocal portal contains trademarks, logos, trade names, service marks, and other marks (collectively "Marks") that are the intellectual property of CityLocal, their vendors, or respective third parties. You understand that CityLocal utilizes the Marks of vendors and respective third parties obtained from the owner and/or distribution channels. By doing so, CityLocal has no intention whatsoever to acquire rights of use or license to these Marks.

This Infringement policy is designed to foster a safer marketplace by prohibiting the use of CityLocal portal for infringing the intellectual property rights of third parties or rightful owners. CityLocal policy requires sellers, buyers, or users to adhere to all governmental laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Infringement policy as periodically amended.

If you come across something on the CityLocal portal that you believe violates intellectual property rights, please send an infringement notification to CityLocal at infringement@citylocal.in.

CityLocal will be unable to process requests that do not specify exact product IDs or URLs and the details outlined below. Please refrain from providing links to browse pages or search query links, as these pages are dynamic and their contents change over time.

How to report a listing:

If you have a good faith belief that your IP right has been infringed by any of our sellers or anyone else on CityLocal’s portal, you may follow the process below and/or seek legal advice.

We require the Intellectual Property right owner or authorized representative to provide the following details via email to the aforementioned email id:

Identification or description of the Intellectual Property Rights that have been infringed.Unambiguous identification or description of where the material you claim is infringing is located on the CityLocal portal with adequate particulars. Product ID/website links of infringing products.Your address, telephone number, and email address.A statement by you that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright or intellectual property owner or authorized to act on the copyright or intellectual property owner's behalf.Brand/Trade Name (in case of Trademark infringement)Details of the intellectual property being infringed (Provide copyrighted images or trademark certificates as attachments)Details/documents of legal proceedings initiated against the entities (infringing the Intellectual Property rights of the owner)

Grievance Redressal Policy:

CityLocal shall take all necessary steps and/or remove the infringed product/details from its portal within 15 (Fifteen) working days, subject to verification of the details provided above and the nature of the complaint.

Counterfeit & Privacy Protection Policy

A. Introduction:

We have adopted an Anti-Counterfeit & Piracy Policy to eradicate the influence of counterfeit and pirated products on our platform and our customers. We strictly prohibit the sale or promotion of counterfeit and pirated goods/services on our platform and have enhanced our framework to effectively combat their proliferation and sale. This policy outlines the measures taken by CityLocal Limited and its affiliates ("CityLocal," "we," "our," "us") to safeguard the rights of owners, manufacturers, inventors, musicians, authors, and other stakeholders from the sale of counterfeit and pirated products on our digital platforms.

This Policy constitutes an electronic agreement under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the associated rules and regulations (as amended) including the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. By accessing or registering with our Platform, you expressly agree to abide by the terms of this Policy and other applicable Terms and/or policies. If you do not agree, please refrain from accessing or using our Platform/Service.

B. Purpose:

To mitigate the risk of counterfeit & pirated products.
To safeguard the legitimate interests of owners/rights holders.
To assign responsibilities for preventing the introduction of counterfeit & pirated products on CityLocal’s platform by sellers/vendors and their supply chain.
To promote awareness among customers about purchasing genuine products through authorized sources/distributors via CityLocal’s platform.
To facilitate the reporting mechanism for counterfeit & pirated products on CityLocal’s platform.
To prevent the sale of illegal counterfeit & pirated products on CityLocal’s platform.

C. Applicability:

This policy applies to all websites, mobile sites, applications, and/or other services provided by CityLocal Limited and/or its affiliates that link to this policy. It is binding on all users of CityLocal’s Service, including advertisers, agencies, employees, customers, and other service providers. This Policy is part of CityLocal’s Terms of Service. D. Counterfeit & Pirated Goods/Products:

Counterfeit Goods: Refers to goods bearing a trademark without authorization, infringing the trademark rights of the owner. These goods mimic the brand features of the original product.
Pirated Goods: Refers to goods made without the consent of the right holder, infringing copyright or related rights. Nature of Counterfeit & Pirated Goods/Products: Includes fakes, copies, replicas, bootleg recordings, unauthorized copies of movies/software, and non-genuine products imitating brand characteristics.

E. Responsibility of Sellers:

Sellers must offer authentic & genuine products on CityLocal’s platform. The sale of counterfeit & pirated products is strictly prohibited. Sellers must:
Source & sell only genuine products.
Not sell bootleg, fake, or pirated copies.
Not infringe on another party’s intellectual property rights.
Not sell unauthorized copies of media/software.
Not sell replicas or non-genuine products imitating brand characteristics.

F. Failure to Comply with this Policy:

CityLocal permanently enforces its strategy to combat counterfeit & pirated products. If sellers violate this policy, CityLocal may, at its discretion:
Suspend or terminate services and remove counterfeit & pirated products.
Withhold funds and initiate legal action against the sellers.

G. CityLocal’s Right:

CityLocal collaborates with stakeholders and law enforcement to prevent the sale of counterfeit & pirated products. We review and remove suspect listings, investigate complaints, and take appropriate actions to protect customers, sellers, and rights holders.

H. Report Us:

If you encounter counterfeit or pirated products on our platform, report them to us with supporting evidence. We strictly prohibit the sale of counterfeit & pirated products and take necessary actions upon receiving complaints.
